Bought a bunch of this stuff, maybe 7-8 tubes, when all the different smells were on sale last year. Thought I'd get used to it, but I just can't. Shaving cream/gel from the can must be ingrained in my DNA. I keep the Cremo in the shower, trying to get my wife and kids to use it up, with them thinking I still use it. ;-)

Have you tried applying it with a shaving brush so it lathers up a bit ?
A $17 Proraso brush is all you need and it should last for a couple of years or so. Wet the brush, squeeze some Cremo onto the brush and then lather it on your face.

Fair advice. I'll have to dig out a brush and try it. I wouldn't think the Cremo would lather in a brush, that it would just gum it all up. When I try to lather it in my hands it takes forever and the cream sticks to the side of my fingers.

I have the Sage & Citrus and it lathers up quite nicely.
Edit - The Sage & Citrus is described as a concentrated shaving cream whereas some of the Cremo range are described just as shaving cream. Not sure if that would make a difference in lathering
I love Cremo shaving cream. But it appears that it doesn't have a long shelf life. Bought a pack of 4 at Costco awhile back. By the time I got to the 4th tube the cream turned into a nasty flaky substance that didn't look or work as the previous 3. Had to throw it away. I still use Cremo but don't stock on it anymore even if I see awesome deals on it

Some reviews complained that the cream was watered down compared with the same product, what is your thought?

The shaving cream has the same consistency across all the different smells that I've tried. It's quite thick stuff. Haven't noticed and variability in thickness or wateriness.
The body wash, now there is a lot of variability in its thickness. Some bottles, regardless of scent, will squeeze out and flow right through the mesh of the loofa ball I use, while other bottles squeeze out and stay stuck on the top layer of mesh. And it's not so much the thickness of individual scents - some Palo Santos, for example, will be a runny while the next bottle will be thick like honey.
