I bought 3 of these for dry camping. Work great! 3 of them fit perfect (a little overlap) on the truck bed cover.

Much lighter weight than the metal frame panels

What good is a solar panel that is not waterproof? I get that solar panels don't really work when it's raining, but I wouldn't buy a solar panel that isn't waterproof!

You mean you don't use your solar panels indoors? Lol

I've only used them for one 7-night dry camping trip so i cant really give any long term reliability, but so far so good for me. These are so much easier to lug around than the metal frame ones.

Did you even read the title? It's a portable, folding, IP65 rated solar panel. If you're looking to power your underwater home in Atlantis, you're probably looking at the wrong product anyway.

Yep IP65 is good enough for anything but very strong water or immersion. So if it's an absolute downpour, bring them in, and don't leave them somewhere where puddles can form.

Yeah I was thinking the same. This is either just bogus marketing or reflecting that some cheapo portable panels aren't actually waterproof.
Normal roof top solar is obviously going to have to be waterproof.

I think the point is that there are indeed portable panels with less waterproofing, that would only be put out temporarily. These would fall into middle area... More waterproof than other portables but perhaps not as robust as you get with permanently mounted panels

I bought a couple of these for my travel trailer the last time round. The are relatively light weight, and am getting around 360w from two, in full sun without perfect positioning.

The only thing I don't like is that the flexible parts use cloth instead of plastic, so when placed on the ground, they tend to pickup the dirt. Not a huge deal, but just something to keep in mind.
