I've tried both and Xyzal works much better (at least for me). That being said I found a generic version on Amazon that costs about a third as much as the name brand.

I work for the company that makes this. We don't own the patent for Zyrtec. They are competitive to us. You sound like you believe a lot of nonsense

That's the one I've been buying for over a year and it's crazy how cheap it is.

I found it about a year ago and I agree. It works just as well as the name brand!
BJ's started selling a generic Xyzal, but this one beats them on price.

I'm gonna geek out a bit. So Zyrtec (aka cetirizine) contains both dextro-cetirizine and levo-cetirizine. After some research, it was found that levo-cetirizine exerts a better response to allergies than dextro-cetirizine. That's how we got Xyzal (100% levo-cetirizine).

Another fun fact: in terms of oral meds, there's nothing stronger than Xyzal at the moment. If you need anything stronger, it will be a trip to the doctor for an injection. Therefore, it's recommended not jump straight to Xyzal if you've never taken allergy meds before.

Extra fun fact: Xyzal contains the last 3 letters of the alphabet lol.
