Protecting Windows 10 pc if it can not update to win 11?

One of my pc is not eligible to upgrade to win 11.
I do not want to give MS my email ID - there is a way to extend it for just 1yr.
Is Virus sw is enough to give the protection?
I hear there is still a way upgrade to win 11.
Best way to proceed?

Also every time I boot my PC, itt will show that its logged into that Yahoo a/c.
Am I missing something?
Also what is if I am already logged in with a Live email a/c?

Not familiar with how\where MS stores your license info and how that all ties in privacy-wise, but they have it already in their activation database and it is embedded either in the bios of the PC and\or the registry. Not sure what you are trying to achieve. I log in with a local admin account (not the stupid MS account). It will show your MS login when you tie into Rewards or if your PC settings are being backed up by them. That is not being logged into your yahoo account but you would be using your yahoo account as your MS account. It sort of is what it is. At a certain level, it is almost impossible to completely de-couple yourself from them having certain info like license info on you if you use Windows. I am sure there are others that can get more into the specifics of it in greater detail,
