If your unit can take a full sized stick, they are cheaper at $105 at Amazon https://a.co/d/d1HmtYB

I own both form factors and find them to both be very good. I use the smaller one in a tiny storage device and it moves data fast. I actually think I have two of the smaller ones for my devices. I stepped away from flash drives years ago.

I use the larger model in two separate PC's. Haven't had an issue. A huge upgrade from old school drives. Most motherboards can take this size too. Saves space as well. Both PC's have four NVMe drives in them. The old school drives would have needed 4 massive bays for that. Keep in mind, these create a lot of heat. My PC gets very warm when tasking (processor is a factor as well)

The pricing on these versus the 2280 form factor are completely different, just as the 2242 sizes are more expensive with lesser options. clearly the " standard" nvme is now full length 2280, and any other size is going to be more expensive because the market for those is smaller.

Absolutely. Educating those who don't follow the price trends. Depending on your use this is the only size option, but for others they should go for the cheap route. I love these little workhorses.

Fits Seam Deck. In for 1. Will probably sell out fast at this price. If you are considering it you should buy it.

Picked one up for my ROG Flow Z13. It came with a hella small 512 GB drive. Any ideas on what to do with it?

One of the best QLC drives and hence one of the best high capacity 2230 drives.

Wouldn't use one in a full sized 2280 slot however. Look for a TLC drive for less than $100.
