A few times a year Target has $5 off a $50 prepaid card purchase. Combine with RC for an extra 5% off bringing it down to $42.75. On top of that if you go through a cash back site you can get possibly 2% cash back and if you're really lucky Target will have a circle offer at the time giving you an even bigger bang for your buck.

Switched to Total Wireless for precisely that. Well, one of the main reasons. Refill cards that I can buy at a discount.
However, taxes and fees are not extra at Visible and Total, many other prepaids. All included in the listed rates.
I've been doing this for 5 years now. I don't really see any deals better than 5% off, just like this one. $23.75/mo for ATT Prepaid 16 GB/mo is pretty cheap.
