For those of us on the AT&T $300 yearly plan.....

A few times a year Target has $5 off a $50 prepaid card purchase. Combine with RC for an extra 5% off bringing it down to $42.75. On top of that if you go through a cash back site you can get possibly 2% cash back and if you're really lucky Target will have a circle offer at the time giving you an even bigger bang for your buck.

I was relying on these discounted AT&T cards until the 10% deals dried up. Switched to Visible+ @ $29/mo after years on the AT&T $300 plan. My first four months I'm getting 25% back from Chase/Amex card merchant offers and cashback site. (Plus better speeds and connection in my area.)

Something for those who are in a similar situation to think about the next time Visible+ is running a promo.

If you have Target Circle 360, make sure to Activate the offer for "Earn $10 in Rewards when you spend $100."
It's cumulative, so you don't have to spend $100 in one transaction.

I used to get these AT&T refill cards, but now I don't because I don't know how to redeem them anymore! This may not be the place to write this, but has anyone been able to transition from the old AT&T prepaid "paygonline" to whatever we are now redirected to? I have an old AT&T account that I can log into, and I'm trying to link my prepaid account, but when I'm entering new details on the "Create an ID and password" screen I keep getting the useless "Something isn't working right" message.
If anyone knows how to make the transition and can help me, I'll be forever grateful!

Yeah, it was messed up for awhile. FYI, there's also an option to pay w/o logging in to your account. It may or not be of use for your case. Also, I eventually got my account fixed by calling and getting a live agent.

I was looking at this just today since they've added them at Best Buy. Is it like AT&T where you purchase refill cards to avoid taxes and fees?

Up to this point, no. I was with Visible for 5½+ years.

Switched to Total Wireless for precisely that. Well, one of the main reasons. Refill cards that I can buy at a discount.

However, taxes and fees are not extra at Visible and Total, many other prepaids. All included in the listed rates.
