I have a few sets of these lights. I love them for the price, just make sure when you get them that you take them apart and seal them with silicone. They always end up getting water in them otherwise - even on the ones in my Jeep that gets parked in the garage.

But for this price they're a no-brainer - they're super bright!

I have used stuff like this wired to my eBike for visibility, and also used the Amber color ones mounted Low and aimed behind me so I am visible to cars. Good for lighting & for increasing your safety factor.

Are their light bars (front bumper fitment) and/or yellow lights any good for inclement weather?

I'd like to wire something like that on or under my rear bumper on the lifted truck for when i reverse. Would love to hook these up to the reverse lights somehow. Is that possible?

Like around the edge? Which silicone do you use?

Any high(ish) temperature clear silicone should do the trick. For example:

Yeah, but for 11 bucks whaddya expect? Another $5 for a tube of silicone and you're good to go. Or spend 5-10x the amount for name brand lights.

Very easily done with some waterproof butt connectors (don't use t-taps). They won't pull enough amps to trip the fuse on the reverse lights, so you're good.

So you just tap into existing lights in the truck?

Yes the common (or just ground it to the frame) and power will be to the reverse light wire.
