Pro tip for people that don't have a bar to mount these on or don't want to drill into their vehicle - they make license plate holders that have a top bar with mount points. Makes the non-electrical part incredibly straight forward.

Yes I ran these, and some of their other lights, for probably about 5 years. My buddy wired them up so they came on when I put the truck in reverse and also with a switch. I could turn them on when hooking up a trailer, needed light doing stuff at night, or when some idiot wanted to drive behind me with their high beams on. He did the same thing with a couple of their light bars behind my front grill too. They would turn on with my high beams or I could manually turn them on with a switch in the cab.

Someone mentioned having to water seal these, I only remember replacing 1 in the 5 years I ran them due to water intrusion. Truck is too long to fit in the garage so it sat in the driveway, or was driven through Florida downpours and a few tropical storms in that time. Regardless, not a bad idea to put a bead of silicone in them.

Has anyone installed these on a zero turn lawn mower? I'm assuming the battery on the ZTR will handle running these lights for late evening mowing?
