* Showing OOS/limited stock in my area and $79 with $30 off with in-store activation of $40 or higher plan.
Kept the preinstalled (unactivated) AT&T prepaid physical SIM card in the phone occupying IMEI1.
All is working well. Calls/Text/5G Data. When first attempting the transfer with service on Warp (VZW Network) the eSIM transfer would not go through.
Requested US Mobile to change my line's network to DarkStar and it installed without a hitch.

So weird, I thought the gov't said 60 days for unlock...
Won't start the unlock cycle though.

Just had one unlocked today on day 59 with TFW using the 90 day $19.99 plan for new activation.
To clarify, you purchased the 19.99 basic plan on the website, received a PIN and used the PIN to activate? Or when you activated the phone, it allowed you to pick a basic plan? I didn't think the website would allow you to buy a basic plan if it knows the phone is a smartphone.
Is it possible to activating and unlocking it without opening the package ? I want to get it unlocked but want it intact in the box so it doesn't look used.
no, scalper
It was 50% off at my Target ($25) so I grabbed it. I was going to use it with an AirVoice sim, which is an AT&T mvno so I've always been able to use AT&T prepaids with it. When I removed the AT&T sim that came with the phone, the phone automatcally pulled up the "Device Unlock" app and it will not allow you to access the phone other than the dialer. Initially it recognized the AirVoice sim for less than a second and it went back to the Device Unlock app. Any time I remove the AT&T sim, it "locks" the phone and will only allow the Device Unlock app to come up. I have not been able to find a way to circumvent the Device Unlock app or delete it. So if anyone is looking to use this phone as wifi only, yes, I am able to do that *as long as the original sim that the device came with is inserted and airplane mode is on. If you ever remove the AT&T sim, you will not be able to use the device at all, even on airplane mode. I suspect if you're able to find a way to unlock this phone or disable the Device Unlock app, it will probably work with an mvno sim. If anyone finds a workaround, please message me!
