How does this compare to ambernic(spelling?)? What is the best one to get for around $30?

Anbernic devices are great too but this one is hard to beat, especially at this price point. Just install Onion OS and you'll have a great experience playing up to PS1 games.

Nah. However, the Anbernic devices offer external display output.

I have the yellow version of this - and it is very small. The screen looks very very good. Play a lot of SNES and NES on it. Dr Mario forever.

Slick! Got two, I'm planning to give to my nephews for Christmas.
I personally own more Miyoo's (both plus and mini) than would be accepted as normal 😅
I think It is the best way to enjoy up to 16bit games, thanks not only to the console, but also the Onion OS.

whyyyy do none of these cheapo emulator handhelds have bluetooth? wifi isn't really necessary, but being able to use my bt headphones would really improve the gaming experience.

You might want to check Miyoo Flip V2. It shows HDMI in the video and spec comparison shows much better RAM and processor. Can this MIni+ really have only 128MB ram? desn't sound right to me.

Probably battery life and licensing costs to add bluetooth. If you get Flip, the spec dump shows bluetooth, though. Odd.

What PS1 game are you playing on these? I have one and I have found PS1 NFS games stutter, so never tried anything else.

I have one of these and I can tell you it's awesome. Very pocketable with a decent screen. Perfect for GBA and PSX games. It also has good battery life.

Are you sure it's the Mini+ and not the Mini V4? I've never seen a yellow Mini+ but that's the most popular Mini V4 color. The mini V4 is noticeably smaller than the mini+.
