U cannot stack. I just tried and it tried to create a new subscription even asking for my billing details! I do not recall it asking the last 2 times I did this...
*update looks like u can and u can also skip adding your billing details, just scroll down and select Later. You just need to ensure it's the same exact amount of years and amt of devices and it cannot go over 5 total years

Despite what some are saying, this is legit and not malware. I bought this deal back in August and have had no issues since then. There are annoying notifications about every little feature at first, but they can be turned off. It's a quick Google search away to see how. Once they're disabled, the protection is nice. I ran performance tests on multiple pcs and it has very little performance impact at all when running idle.

The Bitdefender control mobile app is nice and allows you to monitor all active devices.
It does come with basic access to their VPN but the limit is 200mb a day. I use a different VPN so I can't say how good it is.

You need to have the same product version (Total Security) in order to extend, otherwise it will treat it as a new product and only gives you 2 years from the install date. I got the BD "Internet Security" because it was a good deal but it would not extend my "Total Security" license expiration date. I later purchased BD "Total Security" and that one did extend my existing license for the same product.

Yes, I have had it for a few years and the only problem I had was that it stopped alerting me to Firewall related events. Their support was a waste of time. I spent a lot of time collecting and sending them windows event logs and in the end they offered me a solution for Android (I had Windows). uninstalled and reinstalled the software and it's been working fine since. I sure miss Kaspersky though.

Does this add extra protection that you can't get from the Windows Security that's built in with all Windows? I've built and used many different computers and I download a shitload of stuff - I haven't used a 3rd party anti-virus software in ages- and I've never had any problems with viruses.

This is my experience as well.

If you're using Windows 10/11, the built-in Defender works more than often than not. No need for another program and subscription.
