Definitely a good deal, but I'll repeat the same advice I share for every golf shoe post: I strongly recommend paying some extra money and buying waterproof, especially if this will be your only pair of golf spikes.

Great advice. Good deal and good looking shoes from a reputable brand, but I'd never buy golf shoes that aren't water proof. Nothing worse than wet grass getting your shoes soggy and having them stay that way for a whole round. Between sprinklers and dew, you'll get your golf shoes wet more often than you think.

Any you'd specifically recommend? I learned this lesson the hard way so I'm looking for a pair of waterproof shoes, but I've gone through dozens of listings for ones that are water resistant and waterproof, and reviews end up complaining that they're anything but. I think it's a given that it has to be a leather upper since anything I've seen that says mesh so far has been a bust.

Big fan of the FootJoy Fuels for a spikeless waterproof. I've had 2 pairs with A LOT of walking rounds on them that still look good and hold up to the morning dew/moisture.

Thanks! Managed to find a pair in the Resale category so they came in at 42 bucks, definitely worth a try. I just started playing this year and was using regular sneakers but was tired of them getting filthy and bought a pair of Puma's. Didn't realize how important the waterproof element was (I don't play in the rain) until the first time I went out in the early morning.

How do you find/see the "Resale" category? On which of the two websites?

Sorry it was on Amazon Resale. check the thread here, there's a link that you can use to search sale items. can also just look for the specific shoe and size new and see if they have any listed as a resale item, then go to that product page and it should have the discount listed.

You got some good advice in this thread; I don't have ton to add to it. I'm fairly brand agnostic, and I end up buying a lot from what pops up on SD. Right now I've been m wearing a pair of Duca del Cosma that I bought from Marshalls online, a pair of Jordan 1s, and a pair of Footjoy Premieres. I really like the Jordans because they're built like a sneaker (duh) but are still waterproof. The FJs are great, but I wouldn't pay anywhere near full retail price.
