Lol those safety catches are useless because of how short they are. And those dip bars are also useless because of how wide they are.

But for squatting it'll work. Maybe not safely but it'll work.

Please do not get this rack. Spend more for a better and safer alternative.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank 11A

I own this thing. For this much, it is perfect for an apartment gym. It's good for squatting (I'm 6'0", probably works up to 6'5" with some compromise). I use the safety catches to rack my barbell when I do Romanian Deadlifts. Otherwise they do not provide much safety given how short they are. I'm finding this thing surprisingly useful. I would not put very heavy weights on it. Adequate enough for a beginner like me.

Of course, if you have the space, get a proper power cage with cable attachments. A simple power cage can be had for less than $200 when on sale. Those are far superior, and don't take up all that much more space. But if you only have $25, this thing is not bad.

EDIT: For this much, I bought a second one.
The greatest thing about this thing is that I could bring it to my apartment in Europe in two suitcases. (The two long arms need a cheap duffle bag from Amazon. They won't fit in a 30"-32" suitcase.)

FYI they are ***extremely narrow you cannot get your hands in between the vertical support bars comfortably

I ordered three different ones from Walmart, but the other two also were quite narrow

I use this as a curl bar stand. Works great for that. I would have a hard time using this for heavier weights when pulled out wider to accommodate the bench.

I own this thing. I'm 6'0" with long arms. I have no issues "getting my hands in between the vertical support bars comfortably". I do use it at tis widest setting. At that setting, it's all good.

I brought mine over to Europe (permanently) in suitcases. Good enough for an apartment gym.

I bought this for $40 back in July going to try to rebuy at this price and return the higher priced one.
I'm 6'0 185 and I can do bench and dips just fine at the narrowest and lowest setting. Don't use the catch bars. Been fine for me. The dip grips are uncomfortable for me (too thin), I just wrap them in a folded up t shirt.

Looks ok if you aren't a heavy lifter tbh, from the reviews it looks pretty good honestly like when i first saw this post my immediate thought was that this thing isn't gonna be able to hold my 7ft Olympic barbell without guillotining me. But from the reviews it looks pretty solid for like limited space like a room or small garage gym for those who lift 300 or less lbs. I will not be squatting or benching that so im tempted to get it

The only issue it seems to have is being wobbly but if you have heavy plates on the holders then it keeps stable. For $25 i think its worth a shot
