That's around $.35/Wh which is extremely competitive for a refined complete turnkey UL listed unit. You could build one for cheaper but why would you?

You can go up to 48kWh by connecting multiple Pro 3s and batteries and EcoFlow generators. Definitely possible to expand past 12 if that isn't enough for your needs.

4000W output isn't quite enough for whole home backup, even in a smaller house. Although, you could pick up two of these, and EcoFlow's 50 Amp hub for ~$6k total and have an 8kW, 16kWh home backup battery that would work great for a smaller home. That seems like a great deal.

I do wish the single unit had a higher output. A single Jackery 5000 can pump out 7200W from a single unit but you're not going to find it at a comparable price. The Jackery unit alone, without an extra battery, typically sells around this price when on sale.

If you really wanted to go crazy and needed more than 8kW, you could buy 3 DELTA Pro 3s and connect using their Smart Home Panel 2 (SHP2) for 12000kW.

This is interesting! I have been doing some research into installing a whole home solution like tesla powerwall or LG solaredge, but I think something like this plus a interlock/transfer switch should be enough to power critical appliances like a gas heater and lights, power for the modem. ANd since it's >3kwh it might qualify for the tax credit?
Also keeps it flexible enough to move this around for camps or to direct DC power something that I can easily plug in. Anyone have experience? This is the video I watched: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqPJfcWkM3g
