This seems like a very expensive warranty.

Are these really going to last that much longer than the 24TB Seagate on Newegg for $244.99?
You could get 3 of them, keep one as a spare, and still come out ahead so much better deal imo

Hmmmm. You can only buy two at a time from Newegg but you could get a third thru Walmart by Newegg.

I need to make a decision on this....

I think 2x20tb for 600 is the best deal. However, I haven't seen that deal in a while. Also, I'm not certain if 26TB is a smr or cmr. Do your due diligence.

There are no consumer SMR drives at these sizes.

From what i can tell, the 10% doesnt stack
Yeah, unfortunately WD is very good at preventing stacking. Any time you see a discount as a line item on the checkout page, it won't stack with a code. My wife qualifies for 20% teacher discount and I'm never able to get it to stack with any drive that shows as having a default discount.

I think someone rarely makes a mistake on their storefront and puts something on sale by adjusting its base cost rather than adding a discount, but it seems to get fixed pretty quickly.

The one thing you can stack is cash back sites, which can be as high as 15%.
