FYI, the connection is aluminum so there's a chance the connection will fuse with your Bibb over time especially if it's made out of brass

Has anyone tried coating the aluminum end with silicone grease before connecting it to a brass fitting?

Yep happened to me. Luckily it was fused to an anti-siphoning piece so I just remove the whole thing and buy a new anti-siphoning piece

You should be able just to just some kind of anti-seize on the connector to prevent a problem.

i just use cheap plastic connectors from home depot in my hose fittings so metal on metal things dont fuse.

Just to add to the other comments, do not buy a hose with aluminum connectors. Will fuse via galvanic corrosion to a brass hose bib - you will be lucky to be able to remove it and not have to replace the hose bib.

To be fair, I wouldn't trust brass sourced in China to be lead free without extensive testing of every batch. From a product manager point of view, It makes sense to just eliminate that risk and use aluminum for a low priced product like this.
I also wrap in teflon tape to prevent brass and aluminum fittings from reacting with each other.

I also use teflon tape and never direct to bib but rather QD connectors.
