That's pretty good to get a couple of years out of Pros, if you played a ton. If you are a casual player and/or don't use vibration when playing, then switching to Standard Eneloops might be a better choice as they will last many years longer...

Use Standard Eneloops for anything you use daily and recharge often, they'll last for many years and are incredibly reliable for controllers, remotes, and everyday gadgets.

Use Eneloop Pros when you need maximum runtime or quick, consistent bursts of power. For example: DSLR camera flashes, Wireless microphones, High-output LED flashlights,
RC controllers and transmitters or anything that drains batteries fast.

For an Xbox controller, the standard Eneloops are typically the better long-term choice unless you're using vibration nonstop and don't want to swap batteries as often.

FYI I recently saw results of research that said that these are way better long term than the higher capacity Eneloop. those only last a few hundred cycles as opposed to a couple thousand for these.

Many of the working professionals at r/livesound use standard eneloops with wireless microphones because you can charge them for way more cycles in their lifetime.

OP is for AA size. Your link is for AAA. FWIW, S&S brings the AAA down to $1.91/ea.
