Just a heads up. When entering personal info on order, do not capitalize your first or last name. I read about this from another thread and it seems to work at keeping their security system from raising false security flags. Also used chrome incognito and VPN. Order went thru without a hitch.

I want to remind everyone that there is no need to port in a number for this deal. Slickdeals staff replaced my original post with their own that states a port is required. SD staff is wrong on this.

Metro sent me an empty box without a phone, or UPS stole the phone and delieved an empty box. Filled out the help form about it, no response after 2 days. What to do now?

I'm thinking of getting another one, my third one too because of that, do you think Metro will do a good deal on the 2025 model for black Friday?
I don't know if there will be a good deal on the 2025 Razr anytime soon. The 2024 Razr is the older model and that is why it is discounted so much (free with no port in). You may or may not be able to add another device to your current Metro account for $35. Metro may have a limit.

There is really not much difference between the 2025 Razr vs. the 2024 Razr. The processor MediaTek Dimensity 7400X vs. 7300X is just a slight improvement. The battery is 4500mAh vs. 4200mAh.

I am actually very impressed by the processor MediaTek Dimensity 7300X. I installed a lot of emulators such as RetroArch, AetherSX2, Citra MMJ, Dreamcast, PPSSPP and even Yuzu can run some light weight Switch games. The best part is the Razr runs the emulators cool unlike other phones with the Snapdragon 8 processor. It is kind of neat running the emulators on the 3.6" external screen.

I would take the 2024 Razr for free over the $470 2025 Razr.

Can't order the 4th one. Purchased two from two account in the 1st round, @65 each. Then, got third one using one of the two accounts @35. But couldn't get the 4th one using the other account. Tried all the tricks mentioned, including different ip, cards, devices to place the order. No go.

Remember people mentioned the limit of 4, but it's seems to be 3 for me. Or is my address got blacklisted? Give up on this Moto phone, but want to place another order for iPhone 13. Will see how it goes once I got a number to port in, as the iPhone 13 deals requies porting in.

No go for me. I can see the 35 price, but last step fails.

Thanks for the info, I got two of them so far, I gifted one to my brother. Im going to try for a third one for a back up in case the screen breaks since this deal is so good and if total gets a deal by Black Friday I'll get that one too lol

For everyone buying 3 or 4, are you just going to wait a full year until it unlocks??

The 2024 Razr was in stock for about 7 hours today. I couldn't believe how long it lasted. It is usually sold out within 2 hours. I guess some people have reached their device limit.

Here's my instructions that I modified from a post that was posted before (it said wifi off but didn't work for me).

1. Download the Moto unlock tools
2. In developer settings enable ADP
3. Once the phone is connected to the computer (usb and file transfer mode), launch the app, turn off the metro PCS sim and wifi.
4. Click Unlock (which opens up screenshare on you computer (u can make it bigger by putting 980 on the max size,
5. Internet sharing - Click Ok on the Connection Request for Gnirehtet, Also clicking Turn on WIFI and you should see connections in that ghir box
6. Click Open Metro unlock app (WiFi is ON at this point)
7. Click Phone Permanent Unlock then reboot, double check unlock status in about phone

Notes: Idk why the original instructions said have wifi turned off. Because it worked when I had it on. Also, I did have my tmobile sim in the phone and notice the unlock app had errors and switch Metro unlock 180days, but the permanant unlock was gone. I did click reset metro app and reopen Metro Unlock app to see the permanent unlock again.

Here are pics.

If someone on A15 can try this and let me know if it works. My phone was on A14 w/ Jan 2025 Security Update (phone box dated 1/16/2025)

Edit: Doesn't work with Android 15 March 2025 Security Update
Mine is on A14 but March 2025 security update. Do you think it can't be unlocked? I tried but I don't know if I was doing it right.
