Although this deal may be OK, I agree with RusselJohnson and his sentiment about Slickdeals. Unfortunately, from a community platform, it has become front page for shill deals of (mostly) Amazon and the likes. And their deals are for savings like $5 to $3. Whopping $2 savings. See the front page, and count Amazon "deals". Ever since the original creator of SD sold it, the site lost its community feeling. Previously, deals were posted and voted (thus promoted to Front Page) by people like me and you. Now, the moderators just slap a front page deal of a product that will bring the most profit to SD. Sadly, the greed in people killed what once was a place where community came together to help itself (and have fun in the process). I now come from time to time to read the funny comments (unlike mine ).

no but you're missing the point. 40% off is 40% off. it's not about giving money on here it's about saving money. now if you're going to offer me $100 or $60 do you think I would take the $60? I do think the guy has a point, this place is becoming stupid intellectually.

I bought a pair when they were this cheap on eBay. They're fine. I tried em for my daily long walks and didn't like them but they're fine for the quick run to the grocery store

I bought 3 pairs last time. Had a pair already before that so I knew what I was getting into. They are pretty decent shoes. I wear them to work and the gym. I probably wouldn't go running in them but for $27, they're great. The 4 pairs will last me a couple years or more.

Same here I ordered two pairs for beating around going to Costco and for walks. Who cares for $28 if it last a few months all good

Got this when the deal was on ebay through the Adidas store. Two in white the first time, then two in black. Comfortable enough especially for the price. They're the 'throw on a pair and go' shoes for me and appropriate for the price.
