If you've got the batteries this is well worth the $99. I wouldn't want to collect an entire yard of leaves with this, but for blowing off the deck or cleaning out the garage it's great.

I have one too. I also have a higher end EGO. The dewalt is absolutely worth $100. It's much lighter than my EGO, but no where near the CFM. That said, it holds its own and it's usually my go to since it's much lighter and I have a ton of dewalt batteries.

I own on just over an acre and it does a great job. Expect it to chew through batteries though.

The 20v is pretty mediocre, would get a Ryobi 60v or Dewalt flexvolt over this any day. If you don't plan on using this seriously it's fine for blowing off the deck and stuff though

Lucky in my area there isn't much leaves to cleanup. Only fragments of the grass leftover from mowing needed to be blow back to the lawn. My dad craftsmen gas blower are getting funny and I have a hard time start it up. My dad own some DeWalt batteries - 2-3Ah for the drill, will it work on this.

For garage use, yes. For yard less than 500 sf, yes. Otherwise get the blower with CFM > 700.

A regular 5Ah (DCB205) is a pretty good match. It's a decent capacity, pretty light and you can pick them up for ~$55 in a sale. You don't need the extra current of a POWERSTACK or POWERPACK (which are more expensive.

Fasteners has the 5Ah in the Flash Sale for $59 [fastenersinc.net] and, if you buy it with the blower, it would get you free shipping.

Agree'd. Don't expect to be blowing piles of wet/damp leaves or grass with ease, be realistic. Great for a smallish yard but don't expect it to do what a Stihl backpack blower can do.

That said. I've seen (and bought) this paired with the weed whacker and 1 or 2 batteries for $199 in the past. Not sure if tariffs and inflation have killed that price point though. Seems to be an early Spring combo deal if memory serves me right.

I seem to remember hearing (ha) that the 20v is ironically much louder than the 60v
