are these worth it to a casual gamer? the idea of it seems cool but is it worth $150 to play in a small screen on the couch instead of walking upstairs to play on the big screen

You can do a test run on your phone with remote play and Bluetooth in your controller

I bought one last year -- it all depends on the type of games and where/what you play. Most big games, I'd rather plan on a big TV with good sound. I don't want to play an AAA title on a 7" screen, but it's super nice to have at your computer desk to play pick up and play games or do repetitive stuff.. I loved it for stuff like fishing in stellar blade or finding hidden outfits following a map since I didn't need to be in front of my TV for that, it let me do it from my computer. I found lag to be very minimal, at least for me, and that's 2 rooms away from the router. Most people seem to like this so someone else can use the TV while they're playing.. or: wife watching TV while you're playing a game in the same room. Worth it? Debatable, really comes down to if you had extra money. The fact it doesn't do HDR is a bummer, but it does look good
