Nice. Looks like they price matched Microcenter.

Great processor. I got an open box one from microcenter for $226 back in July and it has been excellent. This is a smokin deal

Ordered this one when it was $250 for prime day since it wasn't worth the tank of gas to drive to my nearest microcenter. Guess I'm reordering and returning my prime day CPU lol

This is a great deal...I got mine in July and this is about $60 cheaper. It is a great CPU that is very easy to keep cool.

for productivity probably, intel has always had the edge in mainstream productivity since about 12th gen.

for gaming amd, even the non x3d chips will do same or better, and for a lot of the big boy big core workstation tasks the 5/7/9950x then take over from the respective intel gen. i think the 14900k may have been an outlier there in that it did really well, but it also cooks itself and likes to drink like 500 watts+ at stock on a render load. and yes this is direct experience no heresay from a youtuber.

the 265k has its place, but it's still a hard sell between its pricepoint and the competition.

I bought the 7700X for $262 in August and felt like that was a fair price at the time. I believe the performance is pretty much equal between 7700X and 9700X, but the 9700X should run a bit cooler and this price is compelling for a really decent processor.
