The limit is 5 in theory, but 4 in practice; the fee is present in cart as part of the subtotal before the discount kicks in, and Staples will not sell more than a $1,000 subtotal of gift cards in a single transaction. As such, throwing five $200s into your cart will show a message from Staples asking you to remove items from your cart before you can continue.

so for instance I had some medical bills recently that I had no CC bonuses for. By using these I effectively earned 5 UR
When it comes to online, the issue usually is that there's no zip code attached
this can be easily fixed by setting it up on the visa website
I've used this at my grocery store, dentists office, bookstore, and for some online purchases
Kind of annoying that this isn't like the Vanilla visa that can be used with Apple Pay though
Not sure if this has changed.

Someone mentioned 5 points but what is that referring to? It seems to be related to chase? For reference, I only have 2 credit cards. A Bank of America Worldpoints credit card that earns 1% cashback but you need to spend at least $2500 to earn the minimum cashback of $25 to claim. I do have the jetblue plus card. I don't have any plans to open any new credit cards
The thing is you earn credit card points that gets you extra cashback or travel miles depending on your credit card usually. I don't understand the logic of this when you going to use your credit card for future purchases anyway which will generate the same amount of points? I could understand if like you need a bit over x amount of points to claim a specific cashback amount on a credit card or it would earn you just enough points for your credit card that you use for flying and it will earn you just enough to spend the points for the miles it earn. Can someone explain this?

You can still buy gift cards to your preferred store probably with these but I have no personal experience
i still suspect using the zip code setup will solve some problems
