As for artificial, petroleum based & synthetic food coloring, Americans have increased their consumption by 500% over the last 5 decades. Norway and Sweden have banned or greatly limited use of food coloring due to links to hyperactivity in children and cancer. The NIH did a study that showed DNA damage, colonic inflation and impacts on the microbiome in mice from Red #40. There's also European studies that show a possible connection to behavioral and health issues. Thankfully, Red #3 will be going away in 2027 and 3 new food colorings were recently approved from natural sources.
Of course, everyone has the freedom of choice to get as many vaccines as they wish or consume foods with artificial coloring. Just some people choose to avoid them. Thanks for the reply! Have a good day!
Regarding the Cleveland Clinic flu vaccine study, it's a perfect example of how a preliminary finding can be misinterpreted. While the study did report that number, experts - and even the Cleveland Clinic itself - quickly pointed out that the conclusion was likely misleading. The study didn't account for the fact that vaccinated employees were simply 27% more likely to get tested for the flu, which skewed the results. Most importantly, the study didn't look at the primary goal of the flu vaccine: preventing severe illness, hospitalization, and death. Broader data from the CDC for that same season confirmed the vaccine was indeed effective at keeping people out of the hospital.
On the other hand, your concerns about artificial food dyes are very much on point, and you are right about the science and the direction things are heading.
