Finding shelves on Amazon is an uneccesary pain
They are all shown as AI pictures now. It makes it hard to have any idea what you are getting. You cannot search by fine enough increments to get what you want. It is pretty crazy IMO. This one looks like another weak shelf. What happened to diagonal cross braces?

This isn't the shelf you're thinking about. The ones with diagonal cross braces (outside the large industrial shelves in warehouses) are weaker. This is pretty sturdy. They claim 200-lb. weight capacity per shelf. I would say 100-lb. weight capacity per shelf is pretty realistic

I'll receive this tomorrow but won't get to it until Monday to compare but the Amazon unit was much weaker and lighter than my NSF branded ones that cost 3x. So I'm hoping these are built better than the Amazon unit. Otherwise, $45 should be it's real price, making this not a slickdeal at all but more like a Walmart "Black Friday" deal where they sell cheap cr*p specially built to sell on Black Friday vomit

I just got my order of these and put one up. So far seems quite good for the cost for inside the house. Will be holding things like board games, clothes bins and the like so weight is moot. Instructions are a bit "basic", and a few parts came wrong (connector in the wrong piece, etc) but overall seems good.

For future researchers, I just want to offer my 2c. I recently bought some similar Walmart wire shelves, which as we know offer everyday low prices, and I grabbed this just because it seemed to be a great "deal" and who doesnt need an extra set of shelves...

My takeaway was this is a regular retail price at a fake sale price. At 60, 70 bucks you would feel you got ripped off and not even consider buying it if you knew what else was out there. At 40 bucks I won't send it back, but I'd never buy it again unless it was maybe $30 or less and I needed it. Youre far better off buying retail shelves at Walmart, Sams, etc.
