was going to order a pair for instore pick but walmart charges $7 extra for instore pickup if total is under $35.


hahahaha. These places out of their damn mind for having an instore pick up minimum.

I think you were looking at the shipping price. You can only pick up one and pick up shows free, but if you add anymore than that it's automatic shipping.

looks like reserving a pickup time also charges the $6.99 when under $35.

Doing a standard pickup with no reserve time is free. Thanks for the heads up

I did in-store pickup for this item twice, and there was no extra charge either time. Gotta pay attention, homie.

it had to do with the "reserve pick up" in-store pick feature, they charge for that when under $35.

That's wild! I did not see a $6.99 reservation charge on desktop but I'm seeing it now on mobile. It looks like they force you to reserve a time too.
UPDATE: I picked a different item and it had a free pickup option. I think they're just filtering out people who utilize pickup for small ticket items. Honestly it's a good business idea. Why have a paid employee bring out a $4 bag of fries directly to your car?
