I never felt the same about Family Feud after watching this movie back in the 80's.

"I'd buy that for a dollar!"- Bixby Snyder
Even though that's a quote from 'RoboCop' it still feels like that tv show would fit in the 'Running Man' universe.

In a lot of ways the book is better. Instead of some arena the main character is free to move around to different cities or whatever to try to hide, but the catch is he has to send in regular updates which give the hunters clues about where he is.

The Governator movie version isn't bad, but is about as subtle as using a 20lbs sledge hammer to swat a fly. It felt more like someone made a movie out of the old arcade game Smash TV, though that game came out after the movie so probably the other way around.

I always use this site to see where something is, on which service:

https://www.justwatch.com/

Doesn't look to be "free [justwatch.com]" anywhere but it's on Paramount, AMC, Netflix, BBC America. Keep in mind when it says "Rent" or "Buy" near a streaming service, that's usually an extra charge meaning the movie isn't included with the subscription.

Ordered! Great deal for a fun action movie from back in the prime days of action movies.

Where did you hide that?

It is on Pluto TV (owned by Paramount). There are a lot of good movies played on rotation and some on-demand streaming (with ads). I like how there is a circle progress timer for ads.

The remake comes out November 7th so it's probably why there are promotions/streaming for the original.
