This shift knob is really bad, but if you desperately need one, this price is not bad.

How you want me to prove it? I have it and tried it, it doesn't have any resistance so I upgraded to the full metal gear box by third party.

I have the non-feedback one, is this better?

I'm not sure which one, but mine is also non feedback, just full metal, feels more immersive, even though it's just some cheap $50 one, still feels way better than this plastic junk, the one on the G25 was way better even though they're all entry level shifters, not to mention this doesn't do sequential shifting.

Ymmv means you gotta go the store. It most likely won't be 18 dollars at your store but there is a chance, hence "your mileage may vary".

The nice thing about this shifter is that it integrates into Logitech ecosystem. I have several shifters but they only work on PC. This works with whatever the wheel is compatible with although not all games support the shifter.

The downside is what people have said. It's not a realistic shifter. If feels like a toy. It's almost all plastic. However there are several mods out there that increases the resistance and gives it more of a real shifter feel. I would look into those.

In terms of shifters it's all plastic, shifting works fine but it feels very cheap, clunky, and loud. It definitely beats not having a shifter though. There are videos online of people modding these by placing rubber bands, adding spacers to improve the experience. You can also change the shifter knob.At this price point it's great and worth buying if you don't already have one. But if you have a nicer wheel setup like direct drive system or something like that you will be better off spending more money to buy a nicer shift.
