Not ideal for tall or thick grass: The mower may bog down or shut off automatically when cutting longer or denser grass, limiting it to regular maintenance cuts.
Limited battery life: This is a consistent issue in user reviews. The advertised "30+ minutes" of runtime per charge is often not met in practice, with some users reporting as little as 15–20 minutes per battery, particularly in thicker or taller grass.
Higher-than-advertised battery charge time: Replacement batteries are expensive and may take several hours to fully charge.
They're 4ah each at 20v. It's equivalent to one 40v 4ah battery. If that's "tiny" to you then that's what it is. You must use 2 of these u20 batteries to use the mower to get the 40v.
Depending on what you use, a lot of 40v batteries get pretty pricey so even though there was the better woot deal before, this still isn't a bad deal IF you can use a 16" mower with a 4ah x40v equivalent to mow your lawn. The woot deal was way better

I've been using the 18" mower that looks like this all summer, I'd refute most of these points but I'll add some notes:
It will bog down and turn off in grass that's been growing too high. I have to adjust the mower in this scenario to be higher, then lower it on another pass. Definitely going to happen more often on a smaller 16" mower but I'd expect that
I'm using 2x 4ah batteries on over 5000sqft. It takes one set of these to do that during the peak where I was mowing weekly, sometimes I'll need to put in another set to finish the job. I'd rotate through the batteries throughout the season.
The batteries were very cheap when I ordered them directly on the litheli site. At one point they were around $13 each so I ordered different colored sets, which works good because I need to use them as pairs. Right now, I can see 4ah 20v packs going for $20 on their site, it's not $13 but still not very expensive either.
I'm not sure what's up with all the comments making blatant assumptions that are just flat out wrong - it's a 16" mower so it's not anything amazing, neither is the 18" one that I've been using - what I've been liking, especially now that fall is going on, is how great of a job mine is doing with mulching pine needles and pine cones that end up all over my lawn. I will add another observation - while mulching the piles of cones and needles the battery power is draining very fast - but I'd expect that with all the extra work it's doing

I have this one it works great I sit on .3 of an acre. I have a lot of tight spaces and odd corners on my land and this thing does the trick. Takes pretty much a full charge to finish the job. I rotate front and back yard on different weeks now. No issue it does choke up and shut off when the grass is too thick. Bagging is very easy as well. Not sure why there is a lot of hate but Litheli has done well by me, and I love the mini chainsaw too !
