I kinda feel bad for anyone who jumped on this phone at full retail on launch. It's apparently a really good phone and all, but Motorola ALWAYS pulls this shit, so by now people should know to just wait a few months and it'll drop by 40% for a little while every couple of months. Eventually, carriers like Total Wireless will start offering it for next to nothing.

Agree 100%. 2 years of delayed updates for a $1000 phone is absolutely inexcusable in this day and age. Get your shit together, Motorola.

Moto site has a slightly better deal. Although Moto's site is $699, they have a bonus discount of $100 per trade-in. I did a mock order on both sites. Amazon came out to $203 after trade, Moto site came out to $177 after trade.
