Slick deal. I bought one of these in July of 2024 for $199.99. I've been using it for the trolling motor on my jon boat. It's been great. Half the weight and twice the capacity of the 50AH SLAs that I had been using. If your trolling motor has a "fuel gauge" it likely won't read correctly. I got a cheap, waterproof, inline voltage meter that you can set up for LifePo4 to show % of usable charge left.

I use for trolling motor as well (and the occasional power outage w/ inverter). One thing to note is that, on my lil Minn Kota Endura C2 30, the manual warns not to run at 100% throttle for extended times on lithium because of how long and stable the voltage curve is. I don't recall but I think for extended runs 80-90% or something like that so they are not pushed past manufacturing specs. Might not be true for newer or diff makes and models. My motor is only two years old.

I have 2 of these that I move around from my truck (12v fridge), boat (trolling motor) and pop up camper, and bought them about 6 months apart, both for more than this one is listed. Great battery for the price, and I waited for their charger to go on sale and picked that up too.

What kind of charger would one need to install with this battery in a car for 12V fridge?

They make DC to DC chargers if you want to charge it while you are on the road driving or at least while you're running/idling the engine. It'll divert some of the alternator's power to your LiFePo4 battery with the proper voltage your LiFePoo4 battery likes.. Search DC to DC chargers on Amazon, you'll find tons of them. With something like thishttps://www.amazon.com/Battery-Charger-Compatible-Batteries-Charging/dp/B0DF2XXML8/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?c... [amazon.com] and with this, you could always add solar down the road because it has a built in solar charge controller. very convenient. This would charge this battery in about 2 hrs from 0 to 100% with just alternator power.

I have one allows 12v charging from a cigarette lighter. Or get a Dc step up converter and step up this 12 volts to 18 or 24 or whatever your powerbank uses for charging and plug the stepped up voltage into the charging port.

edit: what a suggest would need it's own charger connected to this battery as well. some power banks are meant to be chained together and might work through one of those ports depending what the intended voltage was of the power banks internal battery etc.

Have one in my snowmobile enclosed trailer, it's hooked on solar panels, powers, a ton of LED lights, and a diesel heater. Also have an inverter to run hand and boot warmers.

Do you have issues with the battery holding charge and recharging in temps below freezing?

Why the heck is someone downvoting us?
Anyway, good to know about running WFO for extended periods. Not that I do it very often anyway. But I didn't read my motor's manual very thoroughly so this may be important.

Who knows. Maybe they don't like fishing or water? That warning is not in my manual, just checked - it must have been in one of the official videos or something when I was researching. That said, "While many lithium batteries are labelled as '12 volt' or '24 volt,' they often tend to put out a current that's 2 to 3 volts higher than their rating, and if your trolling motor is subjected to this elevated voltage over extended periods of time, that can cause damage and ultimately malfunction...choose a speed setting that's about 20% lower than what you would use with a regular lead acid battery."

These are great for discharging down to close to 0F... They should not lose power due to cold weather, but the big caveat is that they can't be charged with an internal temp under 32F without risking damage. With a heater and lights in the trailer, I doubt it drops that low. Ideally you would pair this with a charger that has a remote battery temp sensor so it doesn't charge when it's too cold. The battery should have a functional temp sensor to prevent it as well, but on lower cost batteries those are hit or miss. More advanced batteries will have Bluetooth and a warming function to allow charging any time there is input. But those run 1.5-2x the cost.
