Other option for freeloaders, like me, is to use keepass/keepassXC . Have the password file sync across devices with dropbox/google drive etc. Forever free. Open source so vetted by security experts. Can import/export data if you want to switch either way. And not bound a single cloud platform/subscription.

surprisingly, it got a lot better reviews on their android app 3.5 stars compared to 1password app at low 2.8 stars.
proton isnt what its used to be. they will be moving their servers out of switzerland due to their country new laws. plus they dont really fix or improve their software. they just try to add more "new features" and all of them are halfbaked. just to compete/keep up with their competitors.
Thanks for any input.
Note: 1P is not perfect, and it's not quite as frictionless as Apple Passwords on iOS devices; you may have to copy/paste from time to time. On all platforms, occasionally it will not record a new password, and it's agent is not "smart" enough to read the password requirements so it will default to it's internal/your select password generation algorithm and give you invalid characters or too-long passwords for prompts that have strict limits. However, I have my three family on it, one of which is, shall we say, technology averse and it works very well, including sharing logins (Plex, some restaurant apps, family-use CC numbers). My octogenarian parents also use it now, too, so if something happens to them I can access their accounts using their physical master password sheets they keep in their safety deposit box and we can share passwords easily when they need help with technology. Is it expensive? Yes. But the benefits in user friendliness for my non-tach savvy family members makes it worth MY while to pay for it.
And you couldn't pay me enough to put banking or medical information on my mobile.
Why? I mean, it's a device that you carry around everywhere ... 5+ feet off the ground ... with at least one side made of delicate glass + filled with equally delicate electrics ... which is a target for thieves, pickpockets and governmental alike -- law enforcement officers & border control agents LOVE to get their hands on it.
I mean, why would you open yourself to that sort of risk?
