Why do I feel like the durability of these will be terrible?

A refurbished 2-year-old foldable with the Tensor G2 SoC, which is a legendarily slow and inefficient chip. You are very plausibly buying a phone with a pronounced crease, medicore to bad battery life, and an aging processor. I'm not sure about this chief...

I would never buy a used fold phone. I love my samsung fold but don't expect it to last more than 2 years without issues. This Pixel fold has been out for a while. Don't expect to get more than a year out of it without issues.

My pixel 7 pro has been a nightmare. Delaminating screen and blurry photos after a firmware update. Google won't help

My ZFold is past its 2 year mark and won't make it to 2 as the hinge is failing from a known defect. If you use the phone a lot and unfold it many times a day, around 2 years seems about the correct lifetime for a foldable. I'll still probably get a new fold as I use the inside screen a lot.

edit, I meant to reply to the previous reply, but I can't edit the reply from my phonj

I bought one when it came out. Durability was good. Battery life sucked

It's low enough that I am very tempted to try it. But is it a downgrade from fold 5? The screen protector is starting to peel from the middle.

The first pixel fold really isn't that good tbh. If the Google Pixel 9 fold were to go down to these prices, I'd say that'd be a good find. I'd skip this one tbh.
