I have a power station but its internal battery is a 48 V, so when I run 12 V things you lose some efficiency stepping it down to 12 V. I also have a 12 V battery and I'll just often run those device devices directly from the battery and I get much more run time per ah of battery.

If you are converting to A/C (alternating current), I'd recommend at least getting 2 batteries and wire them in series (24V DC) to reduce energy loss (48V is a good compromise).
