My local Lowe's has this. Can anyone comment if it's worthy?

I second this question.

I can't speak to this version. I have the first gen non self propelled kobalt 40v mower and trimmer. My yard is small at ~1800 sq feet. Most days the.mower is great. If the grass is at all damp or I let it go to long, a single 5.0 amp battery won't finish my yard. It has trouble when I am trying to scalp my yard early and more so late in the year.

If has been reliable and just keeps working. Haven't noticed much battery degradation over the years. I can't imagine it would be powerful enough also being self propelled.

I have the non self propelled version and i like it. I have a small yard as well and If I stay on top of it I can get the whole thing done on a 6ah. But If I let the back get tall and wet it does get bogged down pretty easy. The real issue is finding high ah batteries if you want to have spares. Anything above 2ah is like hen's teeth and real expensive. At this price if you want it I would seriously buy two just to have the extra battery and a cheap spare mower!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll hold off on this one as I have a ~4000 sq ft yard and wait for something a little more powerful.
