I love these strips. Have used these cheap type power strips for decades. Most of us know to plug A.C.'s and other high powered devices into more expensive strips.
Buy or do not buy! Everybody can decide for themselves.
There are currently about 42,000 reviews on Amazon on this item with 4.7 out of 5 stars.

You may know how to use them, not everyone does. What if your neighbor doesn't?
My brothers apartment burned down because his neighbor was using these types of inferior surge protectors. His neighbor had a microwave an an ac unit plugged into one strip.

Yeah, and sounds like you also know how to use this strip. Did you buy one? Your Caution is NOT wrong. But, are you going to buy some and put low powered stuff in them. I bought a lot of them, and bought some yesterday. Comon sense. Like teach your children not to stick fork in a wall socket.

I was 5-6 years old and I did put a fork into wall socket, and got a very strong shock! Lesson learned!

I do not bother to buy these low end surge strips. I have been lucky enough to buy significantly better versions for really nice pricing. I try to warn people about items like these but all they see is the "good price" and don't realize it is junk and good only for low powered items.
