I got this unit last month for a few dollars more - I like it. The smaller ones like the JVSCAM have next to no runtime, and the performance begins to noticeable sag by 30-seconds (from a full charge); it's probably around half power after 30 seconds. This MECO seems to put out more air for much longer, as it should with the larger batteries it uses. I have indeed used this MECO model to deflate plastic bags around things, and it works pretty well for that - a longer nozzle would work better there though as the two nozzle choices are lacking.

I'm really curious how this unit compares to the WOLFBOX MF100, which I ordered earlier today. I'll be able to compare in a few days.

The Wolfbox? Yeah, I wanted to try it out also. They had (or still have) them new for $10 more than the open-box price, using the same coupons from that thread. $55 or so for a new/sealed MF100.

I use the air dusters all the time to blow water out of things after cleaning (rather than go to the oilless air compressor, or find and plug in the DataVac), but they charge so slowly. I grab the small one first, then move up to this MECO to finish the job. I could use another in any case, so now I'll be able to see how equivalent each one is.

I won't get another 18650-powered one though - the 21700 is a huge step up, even though the MF100 only comes with two 3000mAh cells, which is still pretty low. This MECO "claims" 4000mAh cells, but I haven't opened it to verify, the labeling or on an analyzer. Someone COULD upgrade these, but they'd still be around 4000mAh if going with a 35A-rated cell.

waiting for your comparison. i missed the "extra" coupon on the wolfbox and decided to wait. just ordered this Meco for under $20 (after amex 15%) so if its even in ballpark of mf100, ill keep this (i occasionally use my manual rocket blaster to clean keyboard etc)

$20? I'd think that price is excellent. Only notable drawback I have so far with the MECO unit itself (ignoring the 2 nozzles) is that it appears 3 of the 4 sides of the bottom "battery cover" appear to have been glued in place from the factory. There may be more or less glue on others that people receive. A pry tool inserted into one side does nothing as I move it to the sides, and there's no give on the opposite side of the bottom clipped on "cover." Serviceability seems poor, at least without mangling the housing up.
