Any way to avoid the shipping charge if it's not sold in store?

I got this recently refurbished for 600. Big fan - it's incredibly portable, snappy, and the 1080p screen is worth the great battery life, and the older e quality is very solid. I'm able to do basic video editing in davinci, and run older games without issue. The speakers are really good, and the keyboard feels great. My biggest complaint is that the trackpad feels cheap when clicking.

Why hold out for Thanksgiving when it's already $900 now?

That's a different laptop that he says will be $1000. I haven't seen that laptop in the ads though.

That's a different class of laptop. It's definitely not as portable or have as good battery life as this one.

I am so confused between getting a decent windows laptop or MacBook Air.
I really love smoothness and life of MacBooks but can use whatever software on windows.

Confused people should go with MacBook Air, since windows they will get more confused and may even jump out of window. For your safety go with MacBook.
