If you don't like Tabasco because it's got fermented funkiness, you will not like this. If it's all the acid, this seems a little bit tamer to me.
FWIW, I tend to use Tabasco for richer dishes that need a hit of acid to wake up the pallet. Think creamy, slow braised meats, soul food, etc. The chipotle flavor is pretty darn amazing in chili, but it works with Mexican, meatloaf, tomato-based sauces, and other umami heavy things.
Jalepenos are not as spicy as tabasco peppers. Since these are chipotles, they are smokey.
