Yep. The Mobile Services app is the culprit that loads/reloads the bloatware. Go to the list of apps (might have to turn on Show System Apps) and disable Mobile Services app first, then disable the bloatware.

Does anyone know if the tablet is locked in any way? I have one from a previous deal and when I put the IMEI in, it said ineligible. In the settings I didn't see any way to check the locking status.

Is this automatic unlock? Or do you have to call in? Worried since the service should be exactly 60 days not 61
I got the Moto G Power 2025 in a previous deal and it was not automatic. I went to the unlock website to request and it never unlocked. I had to call in and have a rep push the unlock through. Even after a few days it still wants unlocked although they said it shouldn't take more than 24 hours. Luckily I had enough rewards to get a 3rd month free so I had plenty of time to get it unlocked before porting out to Helium.

So does this unlock automatically after 60 days? I ordered one and I found an old $45 pin card. That should work right (instead of the walmart card)?
Should I wait to load it one day after like you did. I called and they sais something about the card going into reserve just wasnt sure if that would overlap and make 59 days of service rather than 60
Yes, the $45 card should work just fine. It should give you the Silver plan for the 2nd month, and can add at any time. I had a couple of REALLY old $45 cards bought years ago on a Slickdeals that came with AT&T network SIM cards! The SIM cards didn't work, obviously. But I tried one of the $45 cards and it gave me the Silver plan.
On another note, I thought those Straight Savings cards were only for BYOD, and wouldn't work with Straight Talk devices. But it sounds like people have done this, so that's good to know!
You can get the same deal at your local Walmart, except they don't seem to have the tablet deal if that is something you are interested in. I suppose you could add a line online afterwards to get the tablet deal.

Smoking deal. You're essentially making $50 after resale and getting a nice free tablet.

After the first month, can't the phone be rebranded to Tracfone to signup for Tracfone's $15/month plan for the second plan? And the phone should still get unlocked later after the second month of Tracfone service?

If it is something to consider - the retail/unlocked version is 256Gb vs. this one at 128 (although this phone has SD card option).
RAM - same. OS and security updates - same. SD fixes the storage difference.

A few bands might be software locked by verizon - moto allows to enable them via a secret menu.

Unlocked only makes sense if you want to unlock the bootloader. Moto will refuse to unlock the bootloader on prepaid branded moto devices

Well this is my first time doing one of these weird straight talk deals. I was in the market for a tablet anyway and I already have a TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER phone which I love so fingers crossed.
