Not sure how y'all are shaving, but these razors paired with Cremo shaving cream is the best shave I get.
Same here, but with the Jack Black shaving cream. I have sensitive skin and thick hair and Harry's works better than Gillette for me.

Dollar Shave Club was Dorco blades
Dorcos aren't bad. Well, when they dropped their web site they got bad. Went to Amazon and changed the design but kept the same name. There was a user revolt. They ended up reverting to the old design. I have a lifetime (I'm old) supply when they folded their online store.

I've always found Harry's to be really bad. The blades don't go down smoothly. I've had a Gillette fusion 5 for many years now and I can pick up the blades on sale if needed.

laughs in double edge safety razor blades.
i bought a variety pack a year ago and haven't needed to buy a blade again. maybe in a couple years? i shave a few times a week and each one seems to last 5-10 shaves.

i am rocking a red stainless steel rockwell 6s i bought on ebay for $60, quite like it. it has 6 different plates for adjusting the aggression of the blade. i like setting 4.

oh and i hated shaving before i bought a safety razor; now no irritation. get on board, you won't regret it.
I'm still working on the 100pk of feather blades I bought in April 2017. I only use my DE for cleaning up my neckline and then use a feather shavette/straight razor thing for my cheeks and to clean up my uneven mustache.

what is the best blade to get? i got some slop in my variety pack and want to get the best blades when i finally run out. is it feather?
Best is very subjective. What works for one doesn't work for another. Feather used to generally be considered one of the sharper blades out there. However blade makers have multiple blades that can vary greatly. That's why sample packs exist. The "slop" is there to help you eliminate stuff that doesn't work for YOU. For someone else that "slop" is what they'll end up using as their primary blade.

Oof, that's a $120 handle or about 2.5 years of the cartridges I quite like using.
Doesn't have to be that exact handle, that's just the one they chose to go with. IDK if that $120 is the used price now or you're looking at new prices vs the used price they bought it at. You can certainly get a cheaper handle or go even higher and grab one of the gucci handles that are $200+ lol. The initial cost of "wet shaving" is definitely higher than cartridges. However the components last longer. I've got a DE of my grandfather's that I found a few years ago. If I remember correctly from the research I did at the time they quit making that handle in the 50s or 60s. I can still shave with that handle and it's only got a little rust after all these years of sitting around (Grandfather died in 2004). If I chose to I can send that handle off to get refurbished as well, granted that'll cost well over $100 to get that done.

Are these any good? Last time I used Harry's I cut my face pretty badly for a cartridge and had extreme irritation using their shaving gel.
Used for a short time, but switched. If you get irritation try Cremo Cream. It really helped me and one tube lasts a long time. I like the one with cooling the best. You can get most anywhere like Walmart.

Honestly, these are some of the best blades I've used, I've used single blade, double blade, I've tried dollar shave club. These hands down are the best. The only time I ever cut myself is if my hand slips and I go side to side on accident. Also you never want to cut yourself again, shave in the shower. Get one of those shower mirrors and try it.
