I was interested, but apparently can't order it. Is anyone else seeing this:

Some states do not allow certain herbicide ingredients.

Is it the old crab grass just turning yellow and then coming back or is new crab grass growing in it's place? If it's the latter then try some pre-emergent after applying the crabgrass killer to prevent the new crabgrass from growing in.

What Amazon does not ship can be bought at my local Home Depot. Walmart will ship the one in this post. Amazon won't. Go figure.

Used this just a few months ago. Works great on Yellow Nutsedge and others but didn't phase my crabgrass other than it changed colors a little bit.

Thanks. Here in the mid-atlantic, it's time to fight Creeping Charlie. I'm able to get good control for a while when applying in late fall and then again in spring, but after a few years it starts, well, creeping back in to my yard.

Depends. If it's crabgrass, you likely need quinclorac or Acclaim extra selective, and the application rates that are required once the plant reaches 4-5 tiers is higher than what you're going to get within this product. At that point you'd be better off purchasing all the required safety equipment and just buying a $35 container of quinclorac and doing the professional application yourself. But beware, over-application will kill your lawn, harm the enviroment and no matter what your lawn WILL smell like a chemical factory for a number of weeks afterwards. Quinclorac is your tactical nuclear tool in lawn care, it shouldn't be your default first go-to chemical. Assuming you have a northern lawn, If you want a better swiss army knife chemical, look at applying tenacity.

This product is a broad spectrum mix of herbicides that are effective at controlling a number of weeds. What people do not realize is crabgrass's growth is identified by the number of leaves per stem. This product will kill 1-2 leaf per stem (tiers) crabgrass and likely have a 25% chance of killing a 3 tier crabgass, but you need a much higher application rate to kill 4-5 tier crabgrass. Further getting rid of crabgrass is 80% using pre-emergant AT THE CORRECT TIME and 20% applying crabgrass killer.
I'm one of those crazy people with a lawn that doesn't appear to have weeds. But that didn't happen overnight or by accident. I can tell you that it takes 3 years of active effort to rid yourself of most of your crabgrass. Crabgrass seeds are viable for up to 7 years in the grounds. So even if you have killed off ALL of your crabgrass you can still get crabgrass from those existing seeds for several years. However, I will add that 85% of those seeds will germinate in the first 3 years. So... Assuming you prevent new crabgrass seed heads for 3 years and no one is directly upwind of you, you can have a relatively crabgrass free lawn after year #3. Crabgrass probably is the easiest of the unwanted grasses to deal with.

Lastly there are other grasses that get misidentified as crabgrass, such as goosegrass, bentgrass and the IMO worst one quackgrass.

Good luck

2-4d is fairly good at killing creeping charlie, but not so great for the environment, an alternative is Triclop este, which is extraordinarily hazardous to your lungs in liquid and gas form but safe once dry (use PPE and heed the warnings for applying in regards to resporators temp and wind. Triclopy ester is quite effective against creeping charlie and near insta-death to clover. I tank mix it with Tenacity at significantly reduced rate when I'm treating for creeping charlie control. If I want it dead, I'd apply it at full strength or use 2-4d. I apply 2-4d every other year in that section and that kills it. My other applications of tenacity with Triclopy ester suppress and control it from spreading.

My overall goal is to use as few chemicals as possible and minimize environmental impact, while maintaining a nearly weed-free lawn.

There seem to be some knowledgeable people in this thread! I just bought a house in central FL with St Augustine but its almost completely run over with weeds including crab grass. I would like to see if I can save it vs re-sodding (This is Slickdeals after all!) Any recommendations on the best way to go about that?
