Take the descriptions with a grain of salt. It was a Woot "deal" a year or two ago. Many people, including myself, bought some supposedly brand new genuine MagSafe chargers by Apple only to receive ones with obvious signs of use.

If youre poor just get the new 17. Better everything & twice the space. 2-3 year 0% interest rate is honestly unbeatable if you want something new.

Apple put a really crappy BOE screen in the 16e. It's doesn't seem to have the same peak brightness next to an iPhone 13/14 even though they are supposed to have the same peak brightness of 1200 nits. The iPhone 15 is much brighter with a peak brightness up to 2000 nits.
