I have the 48v version of this, but otherwise identical. The thing can't even mow 1/4 acre before it's completely dead. I use it for the hard to reach spots the tractor can't get to, but I certainly wish I had something better.

I have the 80v version of this and it takes me a couple swaps on battery for an acre+.. I have most of the greenworks collection and love them all, but the backpack blower and lawnmower are my 2 most used. That being said, I would definitely wait for a deal on the 80v ,cuts through easy and overall the collection is just a machine and good investment imo.

I'm able to mow 1/4 acre with my 4 year old 48V/21" version, but maybe keeping the blade sharp or mowing at height level 3 has helped me.

most the electric works well on tall height cut turf; if you want really short for cool season i think 40v suffers and need to move up to something that has more consistent runtime

if it's just mowing in sparse weeds then most electric does well without the hassle of small engine maintenance
