I posted this deal, but am personally on the fence. To note, it doesn't come with the power adapter and likely won't have the RGB cable. It has a 30-day return and 90-day warranty (some NewEgg products are final sale, this is not).

The question is is this really an uplift from the 5060 TI given with the TI you get four more gigs of a vram

Right, and I doubt they're actually refurbished. Seems more like a way to sell the cards for less and gimp the warranty. Might be a few returns but these flopped on the market.

Why buy refurbished when you can get the MSI for $499 brand new with full warranty at Walmart? It's sold and shipped by Walmart too.

UserBenchmarks is a little biased in some things (they hate AMD), but this is what they show for the 5070 vs 5060-TI:

This is from Tom's Hardware:

"less VRAM but much better performance"

When the 16gb 5060 TI was like 370/380 it was a great buy for the price. If you already own the card I would wait and see what the refresh Super Versions will bring and cost.

The 2 fan model isn't as good.
Currently, Walmart also has the 3 fan for $549.The performance difference between the 2- and 3-fan models will not be noticeable. We're talking *maybe* 2 fps difference. The most significant difference (other than length) will be fan noise. The 2-fan variant will need to spin those fans a lot faster to maintain sufficiently low temps. If noise levels are not a concern, I'd go for the 2-fan. It gives you all kinds of freedom in terms of choosing a case, and would be awesome in an ITX or mATX build.

Neither was it included in our brand new 5070 from MSI. Thankfully we bought a fairly new PSU which did come with one.

How much louder do you think the 2-fan model would be? Interested in building a PC for my TV.
