The point of this is so you can get into smaller/tighter areas that a bigger sized rotary tool cannot get into. Besides Dremel brand tools it also fits on the M12 rotary tool I just bought it this week to use with mine. Nice to have for only $20. It spins at the same RPM as whatever the tool is spinning at.
