I had the same issue with amazon not giving me the coupon to bring it down from $12 to $8, but I still bought it at the higher price.
It seems very bulky for what it is, Its the size of my 5ah powerstack. But it seems to be decent quality, and IF YOUR EAD THE DIRECTIONS PROPERLY! (I see many negative reviews from people who do NOT know how to use it correctly) it should be a decent little device for this price. Recharging your car slowly for times it sits for weeks and months, or times you change a battery and dont want to lose all radio settings and other things, this is a good buy for $8
