As a Bluetti owner, I would recommend the Anker.

there is nothing really wrong with the c1000, it's a solid performer. it's just older tech. it was released september 25, 2023. power stations that are a couple of years older like this one, tend to be noisier, with louder fans. they only have 100w usb-c, and 12w usb-a, when the new ones have 140w usb-c and at least 15w or 18w usb-a. the one lone solar input is a bit low at only max 600w and only 12.5 amps, which makes it quite challenging to get anywhere close to the 600w solar limit. other power stations have 15a or even 20a limit on the pv intake, like the bluetti elite 100 v2, which is comparable in price to this one and much quieter and newer.

the app on the ecoflows is much nicer with a lot more features. ecoflow and bluetti for a while now have alternator chargers to go with their power stations.

where's anker's?

this c1000 has a low idle consumption, and a built-in light bar, which is nice. its weaknesses are the very rudimentary app, and the fans can get much louder than the newer power stations, and the weak solar input (12.5 amps max).

$379 would be a good price for the new second gen. anker c1000, but not for this original one, which is more than two years old, right as we head into the best deals of the year on power stations (mid-november / black friday).

notice this same power station was $383.50 (only $4.50 more) 7 months ago. this thing should be $349 or less on a regular basis, now that it is more than 2 years old.

https://slickdeals.net/f/18233899-anker-solix-c1000-1056wh-1800w-lifepo4-power-station-bundles-from-383-50-free-shipping

this anker also cannot do hybrid charging from both solar and AC same time, while its competitors like ecoflow and bluetti can.

the batteries are also rated for 3,000 cycles, while the newer offerings from ecoflow and bluetti are rated for 4,000 cycles.

the delta 3 plus offers dual 18w usb-a output, while the anker has paltry dual 12w inputs.

i would rather have the bluetti elite 100 v2 for the same price, or hold out a few weeks for a deal on an ecoflow delta 3 plus or something like that.

i think one can wait to see all the black friday deals, and still get this anker anytime for $379. after all, it was only a few dollars more 7 months ago. they will never be able to get over $400 for this any longer, now that the new 2nd gen is out and less than $450.

this should sell for $349 or less. i could understand a few thumbs up at $349, and perhaps front page worthy at $329 or less, but not $379.

you see? many people foolishly thumbs-upped this deal at $379, and now, only a couple weeks later, one can get the newly-updated second generation C1000 model for a dollar less than this deal on a power station which is more than two years old, which people thought was such a good price!

Anker SOLIX C1000 2,000W Gen 2 Portable Power Station $378.09 +FS

slickdeals has really gone down hill, and is not very trustworthy to find a good deal on a power station any more.
