Lmao my thought exactly. I'm not a cholo in the 90s so I wouldn't normally rock Cortez's but the colorway makes em look almost decent.

"Gang related" lol. I remembered seeing classmates wearing them during the summer and thinking, whoa they're wearing the banned shoes!!! I didn't think they were cool but the fact that the school administration says you can't wear them makes me want them.

Ha, I rocked these during highschool as the gangster shoes. Inflation isn't too bad, they were about $60 back around 1996-98! Now when I see young cholos wearing them, I just say to myself, are they going old school?
